Playing Last.FM radio on Squeezebox outside UK, US and Germany

Due to usage rights Last.FM only supports music streaming on Squeezebox in United Kingdom, United States and Germany. For the rest of us this is a real hassle!

As a paying customer I never settled with this idea, and have struggled to find a way around these limitations, and with some extra testing I finally discovered how I can trick this :)

SqueezeBox Server won’t scrobble to LastFm

For the second time this week, I saw that my Squeezebox Server won't scrobble my played (and loved) tracks to last.fm! I started investigating, and in the server log of my Squeezebox server, I found the following errors:
